Why tennis? Since I first picked up a racket, tennis has been more than just a sport to me - it's a way of life. I was drawn to the beauty of the game, the strategic thinking it requires, and the unparalleled thrill of a perfectly executed shot. For me, tennis is not just a sport; it is a passion that has shaped my life.

 

My career: As a young player, I faced the challenges and victories that this sport brings. These experiences made me want to share the incredible benefits of tennis with others. With over 20 years of professional experience as a tennis coach, I have continuously developed myself and expanded my knowledge and skills through various certifications and practical experience. I am a certified PTR professional, kids trainer, J&S leader and C trainer Swiss Tennis. I also play actively Swiss Interclub (NLC).

 

Passion for coaching: What really ignites my passion is the change that tennis makes in people. It's not just about mastering a forehand or perfecting a serve, it's also about instilling confidence, discipline and a love of the game that goes beyond the court. My training philosophy revolves around developing both the athlete and the person. Through my many years of experience and my diverse commitments, I have learned to respond individually to the needs of my students and support them on their journey. My work in various environments such as the International School Zug and Lucerne (ISZL), the Valsana Tennis Club and other sports organizations has shown me that tennis is not just a game, but a tool for personal development and for promoting community and cohesion.

 

The importance of technology: The importance of technology in tennis is undisputed. It forms the foundation for any success on the pitch. A solid technical foundation is crucial not only for optimal performance, but also for injury prevention and long-term enthusiasm for the game. I deeply believe that mastering technique is the key to unlocking a player's full potential.
